Baayork Lee to Helm ‘ALICE IN WONDERLAND’ Musical at Madison Theatre at Molloy College, Jan. 22-24

Madison Theatre at Molloy College is presenting ALICE IN WONDERLAND – THE MUSICAL, directed and choreographed by Baayork Lee, January 22 – 24, 2016. Madison Theatre is located at 1000 Hempstead Ave., Rockville Centre, NY 11571-5002.

Ms. Lee has helmed A Chorus Line around the world as well as the recent Broadway Revival, the national tours of The King & I starring Sandy Duncan and Stefanie Powers, the national tour of Bombay Dreams, New York City Opera’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, hit Australian production of Barnum, Porgy and Bess, European tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, and Carmen Jones).

A new musical adaption of the classic story of ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Musical fantasy takes you through the roaring ’20s, Hollywood ’30s, Big Band ’40s, and the Beatnik ’50s, with showgirls, tap dancing and a myriad of dance styles featuring the delightful characters of wonderland!

This production features a live orchestra and performers from the Molloy College/CAP21 B.F.A, theatre program. Proceeds will go to benefit the Joan Roberts Memorial Scholarship.
