Designing Women’s Meshach Taylor lost his battle with cancer on June 28, 2014, at the age of 67. The Meshach Taylor Family Fund has been established to help defray ongoing medical and personal expenses the family has incurred during Meshach’s prolonged illness and passing. More than 400 friends, family and fans of actor Meshach honored his life and legacy at a homegoing memorial service in LA on July 6, 2014.
