“Lexy Lee has a sneaking suspicion she’s “large for her breed”. She’ll do anything for a major league makeover. Or will she?”This lighthearted, poignant short play by Christine Toy Johnson sheds light on the effect of pop culture and body-shaming on women in today’s society. The last piece in the program, after two intense dramas, EVER SEE A FAT CHINESE? is a laugh-out-loud, warmhearted piece that will leave you craving some noodles. Or some cookies.
Or chicken. Mmmmm….chicken…….
