The American premiere of American Psycho, a new musical based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis — which celebrates the 25th anniversary of its publication this March — kicks off previews on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) on Thursday, March 24, 2016. Opening Night is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20, 2016.
American Psycho has music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winner Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening), and a book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (“Supergirl,” “Looking,” “Glee”). Directed by Olivier Award-winner Rupert Goold (King Charles III), American Psycho has choreography by Lynne Page (La Cage Aux Folles).
