10352587_10155250199110464_6362633857144426093_nOn Tuesday, March 10, 2015, Also-Known-As, Inc. and Jeff Yang are co-hosting a viewing party and talkback at Taj Restaurant and Lounge, 48th W. 21st St. (between 5th and 6th Aves) in New York for this Tuesday’s episode of ABC’s new hit TV show, “Fresh Off The Boat”. Doors open at 7pm.

Join #freshofftheboat actor Hudson Yang, along with guest speakers Marjorie Ingall of Tablet Magazine, Veronica Chan of Lox & Woks, and Emily Ahn Levy of Also-Known-As.

“Fresh Off the Boat” stars Randall Park as Louis, Constance Wu as Jessica, Hudson Yang as Eddie, Forrest Wheeler as Emery and Ian Chen as Evan. Eddie Huang provides the voice over narration. The screening of episode “Phillip Goldstein” on the venue’s 121″ screen takes place at 8pm.  There will be a talkback session, following the episode at 8:30pm, to discuss transracial adoption, the Chinese/Jewish connection and more.

All are welcome so invite your friends. This event is FREE.

Lia starred as Carole Barbara in Lorey Hayes’ Power Play at the 2013 National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem, N.C., with Pauletta Pearson Washington, Roscoe Orman, and made her jazz vocalist debut in Rome Neal’s Banana Puddin’ Jazz “LADY” at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in New York. She is profiled in Jade Magazine.
