Asian CineVision announces the 38th annual Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF), running July 23 through August 01, 2015 in New York City. AAIFF is the first and longest running festival in the U.S. to showcase the moving image by, for, or about Asian Pacific Americans.

Filmmakers are invited to submit narrative features, documentary features, short films, music videos, youth films (filmmakers under the age of 21), works-in-progress, and screenplays.

Early Bird Deadline: 02.06.15

Screenplay Deadline: 04.03.15
Work-In-Progress Deadline: 04.24.2015

Lia Chang is an actor, a performance and fine art botanical photographer, and an award-winning multi-platform journalist. Lia starred as Carole Barbara in Lorey Hayes’ Power Play at the 2013 National Black Theatre Festival in Winston-Salem, N.C., with Pauletta Pearson Washington, Roscoe Orman, and made her jazz vocalist debut in Rome Neal’s Banana Puddin’ Jazz “LADY” at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in New York. She is profiled in Jade Magazine.
