Traveling Exhibition Focuses on New York City

My “Empire State Building at Dusk” is on display in The New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation Art Collection’s exhibit, New York City: In Focus, currently on view at Bellevue Hospital Center.After Bellevue, the traveling exhibit will be on display at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx from 10/27-11/5 and Queens Hospital Center from 11/6-11/21. The exhibit features New York based photographers Tanya Ahmed, Pamela Allen, Sol Aramendi, Patrick Ashley, Dawoud Bey, Irma Bohorquez-Geisler, Trang Bui, Edwin Cadiz, Melody Cassen, Mara Catalan, Wayne Clarke, Marisol Diaz, Victor J. Duran, Mark Elliot, Fred Floyd, Maria Frolyak, Mary Teresa Giancoli, Arlene Gottfried, Audrey Gottlieb, D. New York City: IN FOCUS

My “Empire State Building at Dusk” is on display in The New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation Art Collection’s exhibit, New York City: In Focus, which opens tonight at Bellevue Hospital Center.

 

New York City: In Focus is a traveling photographic exhibit that will be exhibited in Manhattan, Bronx and Queens. The exhibit features internationally renowned, New York based photographers, as well as, emerging photographers with subjects focusing on different aspects of iconic imagery from NYC: architecture, landscape, culture and people throughout the five boroughs. Other artists whose work is on display include Tanya Ahmed, Pamella Allen, Sol Aramendi, Patrick Ashley, Dawoud Bey, Irma Bohorquez-Geisler, Trang Bui, Edwin Cadiz, Melody Cassen, Mara Catalan, Wayne Clarke, Marisol Diaz, Victor J. The artists’opening reception for New York City: In Focus is at Bellevue Hospital Center, Atrium, 462 First Ave in New York on Thursday, October 9, 2008, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.  Live Jazz performances and refreshments will be served. New York City: In Focus  runs through November 21, 2008.
