Enjoy the Charnett Moffett Trio, featuring Moffett on bass, drummer Will Calhoun and pianist Stephen Scott al fresco at the Dobbs Ferry summer music series, presented by Jazz Forum Arts, on Wednesday, June 24 in Waterfront Park. Concerts are from 6:30 to 8 pm at the park on the bank of the river at the foot of High St. (The number to call for directions is 914- 631-1000.) The Waterfront Park is across from the Metro-North train station in Dobbs Ferry and very easy to get to, from NYC. The Charnett Moffett Trio has been touring the U.S. to celebrate the release of “The Art of Improvisation” CD (Motema Records), and recently played at Iridium in New York.
